ACE USA Names James Barbuti Senior Vice President and Branch Manager for ACE Risk Management’s New York Office

PHILADELPHIA – May 15, 2006 – ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, today announced that James Barbuti has been named Senior Vice President and New York Region Branch Manager for ACE Risk Management®, which provides comprehensive primary casualty programs and services. Mr. Barbuti will be responsible for overseeing ACE Risk Management’s operations, broadening relationships with brokers and clients, and growing its portfolio of risk management programs and services.

Mr. Barbuti most recently served as Vice President of Business Development for ACE Risk Management in Philadelphia, responsible for generating business opportunities and new production sources. Previous experience includes positions Johnson & Higgins and Alexander & Alexander, both in New York, and Legion Insurance Company in Philadelphia. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and an MBA from Hofstra University.
