ESIS, Inc. Appoints David Landrum Construction Industry Practice Leader;

Expands Regional Network of Risk Management Construction Professionals

PHILADELPHIA – July 26, 2005 – ESIS, Inc., the risk management services arm of ACE USA, today announced the appointment of David Landrum, Vice President, ARM, as ESIS’ Risk Management Services’ Construction Industry Practice Leader. In this new role, Mr. Landrum leads a staff of dedicated construction risk management services professionals who bring their practical knowledge to bear in delivering effective risk management solutions in the ever-changing construction environment. The risk management services offered by the ESIS Construction Risk Management Services Practice will address the unique needs of builders and contractors with construction-specific risk management services designed specifically for the construction industry. The risk management services offered by ESIS play a key role in complementing the specialized and integrated capabilities being uniquely developed by the ACE USA Construction Practice, which was established in 2003, for the construction industry.

The team that comprises the ESIS Construction Risk Management Services Practice is based in nine major cities throughout the U.S.--Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco--to complement the ACE USA regional operations structure, and provide services nationally to the construction industry. ESIS plans to continue to add construction risk management professionals to support the continued growth in the construction risk management arena.

Backed by the global underwriting and financial resources of insurance industry leader ACE, the products and services offered by the ESIS Construction Risk Management Services Practice are designed specifically to assist segments of the construction industry in their efforts to control and reduce loss costs.

Mr. Landrum brings to this new role his more than 21 years of insurance industry and risk management experience at ACE USA and its predecessor companies. For the past 11 years he has focused on construction wrap-up and contractor services. He holds a bachelor of business administration degree in management and insurance from Baylor University and has attained the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation.
